"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

So I'm a newbie to this site. I've visited deviantART before and saw all the amazing artists but I just now decided to join. And because irony continues to plauge my life, as soon as I tried to upload my own art to my newly formed page my scanner decided to be a sissy. So as soon as I can get my scanner fixed my own art will be on my page. I do things mostly the old fashioned way, with pencil on paper. I don't have much experience with Photoshop... Scratch that, I don't have any experience with Photoshop. I'm bugging my parents to get it for me for my birthday... We'll see if they take my not so subtle hints. I guess this means my first journal entry is complete. Tada? *grins*
